As much as I moan and contemplate my relationship at times. Deep down I know he is the one. 
He doesn’t know i think that and it is still early days but he is the only person ever in my 28 years of life that I can honestly say I can see a lifetime with. 
Now I’m not saying I’m in love with him nor am I in a rush to but I just get that feeling that I can’t shake...🤔🤔

We’d been dating for a month or two and I got an extremely bad bladder infection that left me housebound for a few days. When it started subsiding I went to visit him, but my car broke down, and I got stuck there without my medication. And I pissed the bed. He woke me up in the early hours gently saying come on sweetheart you need to take a shower, and then left the room. On realising what had happened, I started crying and trying desperately to take the sheets off the bed and pack my things to leave. He came back into his bedroom with some clean sheets and one of his tshirts and some boxer shorts for me to change in to, and started saying hey what are you doing leave this it’s ok but I was still super upset and embarrassed, and he put his hand on my shoulder, pulled me in close to him (both of us still covered in my piss!) and told me that if I think I can scare him off that easily then I’ve got another thing coming. I cried even harder at how nice he was being and he just smiled and kept holding me close. When I got out of the shower he’d taken care of everything and had even made us a camp bed up in the lounge. 
4 years on he’s still as sweet. Very lucky to have my man ❤️

It’s a feeling. Really different for everyone.
He and I spoke online for hours about our lives. He became my friend and confidant. I couldn’t go a day without talking to him. 
And I loved the way he took care of his mother and sister. He was very respectful to them no matter how rude they were at times, and that was a good sign to me. 
Also when it was time for us to have sex, I told him no that first time even though we had planned it for a while. He was not upset like the jerks I met previously, he just said to take my time and asked me if I was hungry lol. We went to eat at a restaurant that night and he didn’t make me feel guilty or anything. 
There were so many more moments. And it was a combination of them that made me say he HAS to be the one. 
10 years later here we are, married, expecting our 2nd child.

Very early on, about two months of dating. We started off long distance so I didn’t get to see him until he came back from deployment but I definitely knew by then.

Early on, I had this overwhelming feeling with two different guys who I liked/dated that we were MEANT TO BE. We were SOULMATES. Neither of those worked out. I never really had this feeling with my fiancè , but I did have a sense of peace. I just feel at home when I'm with him. :)

Yes. Mine exactly wasn’t love at first sight.. we both had things going on and needed to get our shit together. I avoided love and a relationship with mine for a long time. But even so, I knew he was the one. It was worth the wait 😌

I’m confused lady, you say he’s the one, but you’re saying you’re not in love with him.  That doesn’t make sense to me.  
When I met my husband we became close friends and developed a bond that grew from there into a romantic and sexual relationship and eventually into our marriage (of now 18years)   We dissected and discussed ad nauseum about our relationship and didn’t take things lightly because we’d both been through a divorce and he had kids too.  Also we were both in the military and had careers to focus on.  Ultimately we realized we just couldn’t let each other go.  As much as the cards might have been stacked against us luck wise, we just fit too well together!  We were and are still, in love.  He asked me to marry him and without reservation or hesitation I had to say yes.  With every fiber of my being I love this man.  He’s my best friend, my soul mate, my lover, my passion, my life partner and I couldn’t imagine my future without him.  That’s my story.  Rather I should say...that’s our story.
