How is everyone switching to cows milk?

Question

What’s everyone’s plan for making the switch to cows milk around 1 year? What did your pediatricians say? 
Ours didn’t give much info at the 9month appt and we don’t have another one til 12 months. 
My girl has 4 bottles of formula now - about 20-24 oz total. Wondering how/when to start.

my pediatrician said we could start introducing milk at 11months. same amount of formula or breastmilk, just added milk to meals and stuff. I'm going to give milk in a sippy cup at meals with things like bread or crackers, food I feel like would taste good with milk. you can mix regular milk with formula or breastmilk but i dont think it would taste very good so I'm not going to. I've started with 3 meals and snacks already so I've began cutting bottles slowly out but not completely and hes been fine.

I’m going to start giving her whole milk in sippy  cups so I can start taking the bottles away. I have a 21 month old as well and she will only drink milk out of a bottle and have no clue how to take it away. So I don’t want to make the same mistake with my 11 month old. :) wish me luck!

ours said once I'm done with breastfeeding to switch to whole milk so they have suffiy calorie intake. I assume if I keep breastfeeding I can hold off on cow's milk.

I’ve started transitioning at 11mos. I’m doing half formula half cows milk and monitoring her stools. After the 3rd day stools are back normal. On day 5 of the transition I’m going to do all cows milk.

I’ve started having my MIL give my daughter whole cows milk on days that I work. I work 3 days a week 4-5hrs a time. Just a few ounces in her sippy. Otherwise she still has water available all the time. I just got a yeast infection on my nipples and it is AWFUL. Peeling, cracking, burning 😭 so I’ve only been BF’ing 3-4 times a day and only on one side at a time.
