I read whatever looks good/strikes my interest but I recently read a amazing book by an African American author that I LOVED. The book weaves African culture with a fantasy world where magic exists, it has some political overtones but overall it was just a fun read. 
I actually listened to this book on audible (I am busy and listen to more books than I read) and loved the narration as well. Anyway the book is: 
“Children of Blood and Bone” by Toni Adeyemi.

There was this one book I read that I loved! We had to read it for school but I don’t remember it for the life of me. I wanna say it was something about the sun? Ugh I loved that book and I’m so mad that I don’t remember what it was called.
