Do my boyfriend’s best friend and I look alike?

We have been dating for about a year. And with in the last few months he has become best friends with this girl. She’s pretty nice and I don’t think anything would happen. We all hung out for 4th of July and my parents told me afterwards that we look alike. Is this weird? Comment below your thoughts. Maybe I’m being crazy lol.

Yes, you look very similar. 
Also, just my 2 cents but I think it’s inappropriate that he made a new female friend while you two have been in a relationship. If she was already his friend before you met, that would be different...but what is he doing getting close to a new girl while you’re dating? Especially one that looks just like you...if he’s into you, he’s attracted to her, too....

UPDATE: 
I told my mom I made this post and she was like yeah but you’re 5’10 and she’s 4’11.  😂 Height doesn’t matter but we are two very different ends of the spectrum (both a size US 16 tho). I’ll probably delete this poll soon it was fun for a minute but it’s just making me salty😕

I’m super confused like do I try to let it go? Do I feed into my gut feelings and insecurities? I’ve talked to my boyfriend but he doesn’t really see why I’d be worried. So yeah...
