My piercing got infected about a week ago. I have been doing sea salt soaks about twice a day. I think an abscess has formed?? it looks bad. i’m not sure what to do from here. Is this something i need to go to my doctor for? I’m pretty embarrassed but I will go if needed unless i can do an at home treatment. I don’t have a fever or feel sick, i just know its infected from the smell, bump, and the pus. it’s really gross i know, i’m not too sure what happened. Also, my belly ring wasn’t screwed on tight enough and the piercing fell out and i lost the ball. I put it in alcohol to clean it and put it back in upside down so it wouldn’t fall out. that’s why it looks weird.
