Membrane sweep

I had a membrane sweep on Wednesday at 40+3. I was 1-2cm dilates, cervix low but firm. Half hour after having it done the pains started to come every 10 mins or so. So I had a bounce on my ball, went for a walk and had a warm bath then lost a fair bit of plug that was slightly brown. Then after a while the pains stopped.

Anyways, ever since having the sweep the pains keep stopping and starting!! Really frustrating and confusing 😫

This happened to anyone else or know what’s going on?
