ugh I'm sorry to brag but I'm just so frickin happy

we saw the midwife for the first time today and she was thrilled with how well everything is going. no sickness since the end of week 5 (which may have been the flu anyhow), no spotting.

the fetus looks excellent and is measuring exactly on time given my last period.

my bloodwork came back almost perfect - I am like the opposite on anemic with a hemoglobin of 13 (normal is 11). only downside was apparently getting chickenpox as a kid AND the vaccine wasnt enough to give me immunity, so I will need to booster it. but I have protection against rubella so that's good.

I had a miscarriage in early 2016 and late 2014, so a healthy pregnancy means the absolute world to me.

the only downside is that my heart condition is worsening, and my mental illnesses are rearing their ugly heads so I need a new cardiologist referral and to restart counseling. but shit, I'll take that any day.
