Where do you live and how much mat leave do you get? Is it paid? Or are you taking it without pay?

I’m in Canada. I just got approved for sick leave because my hips are super sore every since I got pregnant. I’m a server so modified duties aren’t a option. Doctor put me on leave. I’m so happy to live in Canada ! I get 15 weeks of mat leave at 55 percent of my wage(no tips) then get 18 months of mat leave at 33 percent of my wage! My baby is due in October, I won’t be back to work will March 2020! I feel so lucky. But my heart breaks for all the mamas who have to leave their newborns and go back to work! 😢
