Car seats that fit in a Ford F-150 half cab?!

Any mommas out there have recommendations for a newborn car-sear that will fit in a Ford F-150 half cab?

Cuz... I just don’t know where to look or start!

We have an F150 Lariat and the back seats are pretty deep, so that hasn’t been a problem as far as overhang. Our biggest issue is that the front seats are super deep (think shoulder to the back of the seat) that we can only fit an infant seat in the middle between the two front seats. Otherwise, the front seat is all the way up and a passenger can’t ride in it. We have the Chicco keyfit 30 and it works in the middle with the base, even better without it.

Width will not be a problem at all, and even in the half cab there’s a good amount of legroom. I honestly don’t think you will be limited at all unless both the driver and front passenger are really tall, and even then you would have room in the rear middle seat for any rear facing car seat.

My concern would be how much the car seat (any car seat) overhangs the vehicles seat. General rule of thumb is 20% is allowed but some don’t allow any overhang at all.
