Who makes more money?

Based on your answer to this, does it bother you at all?

I stay home with the kids, not much money in that.

I make more per hour than him. But, he works 60 hrs a week compared to my 35-40. So in the end, his paychecks are bigger.

I currently make more than my husband, but 2 years ago it was the reverse. It may change again, but I don't really care either way. In the end it's *our* money and we're both generally quite frugal when it comes to our daily lives. We both like to splurge on trips, though.

He makes more than me, but he has mandatory overtime every week, plus more if he's on call over the weekend. I work two part time jobs, depending on how many hours I get it can be close sometimes.

My husband makes more by about 30%. He used to make like 60% more but I got a new job. I like that we are closer to even. When we weren't, he would always be on me for any purchase I made over $5. It was annoying when he would rag on me for spending $8 on myself. Mind you, we weren't poor then. We keep no debt. He is still a penny pincher, but since I am more on par with him in earnings, he doesn't talk down to me about spending anymore...unless it's over $20. That's something, right? 😂

I made more for years, now we make the same. It's never been an issue, it's all our money.

He makes more but after child support is taken out for his child I bring in more .

I make more hourly but work less hours, so we end up being fairly even most of the time. If he works overtime, which he does often, then he blows me out of the water. It has never bothered either of us if one makes more then the other. I was the breadwinner for a few years and I do feel like I don't have as much pressure to bring home the primary income now that we are more even.

We make about the same at work. Hourly is maybe a $1 difference. We're both in the same field. He does however not mind working OT when available and I do not. I like my free time away from work to decompress and time with kids, it's a tough job.  He also is very talented in other trades of work and will pick up side jobs like carpentry, home building, mechanics etc. He enjoys it. Add all that in, my man brings way more in.
