35 weeks and baby boy had hiccups every day, is this okay?

I’ve read and googled good and bad things about constant hiccups 😫 
What do you all think!? Baby boy has hiccups at least once a day and with my first son he only had them every now and then.

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet or you’ll drive yourself nuts. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and sometimes my daughter will hiccup up to 4-5x a day, and my baby is 100% healthy.

My son had them all the time when I was pregnant and he is 2 and is healthy. My current pregnancy, she gets them 3-4 times a day and she is also healthy. I have been told it’s how they practice breathing and build their lungs
Ps: with my son who had them all the time while in my belly, he had them frequently after birth. The one thing that helped a ton to make them go away (because sometime he would get annoyed by them) was gripe water. That stuff also helps with gas for the babies too

It’s normal im 37 weeks baby gets them sometimes twice a day and dr said he is healthy sometimes they just happen to hiccup. I have noticed mine since about 30 weeks!

Mine has them a lot. Often multiple times a day. It happens because they’re practicing breathing, but they’re taking in amniotic fluid, so it causes hiccups.

I got the answer for you!! I am 35w 6d and I actually went into the ER today for baby having hiccups 3-4 times a day and they last about 7 minutes or so. I have also had shortness of breath even when sitting down and when laying down and not from exertion. I read baby hiccuping could be a problem in late pregnancy due to the placenta not providing enough oxygen or the umbilical cord being around baby’s neck. They did a non stress test on baby but pretty much told me from the start they are completely normal. Babies hiccup because they’re practicing breathing and sometimes swallow too much fluid and therefore get hiccups. They were more worried about me having a blood clot because I was having shortness of breath and chest discomfort. They did a chest X-ray, legs ultrasound, took a picture of my heart and everything came back normal thankfully! Baby is also healthy and passed the NST with flying colors. Just trust your instincts at all times but baby’s hiccups are normal. If you do need to ease your mind you can always call your ob or nurse and they should be able to answer your questions. My nurse told me from the beginning hiccups were normal but my shortness of breath and chest discomfort was not if I wasn’t exerting myself so she sent me to the ER.

I agree don’t believe everything you see on google especially. It’s normal for babies to hiccup my daughter used to hiccup so much during her pregnancy like literally wouldn’t stop . Lol I thought something was wrong with her but she was perfectly healthy. 
But with this pregnancy I only get hiccups here and there which is also normal .
