I am 29 years young and am currently 14 weeks pregnant and some days. I just got a call saying that I had an abnormal Pap smear and they want to do a biopsy on my cervix.

Now when I was about 16 or 17 I had the same thing and I did have HPV but not the strand that is associated with cancer. They did a biopsy then and everything was fine and I continued to have normal Pap smears.

When I was 21 I gave birth to my daughter and even then I had no abnormal Pap smears. This is the first time in about 15 years that I have had an abnormal anything.

I'm worried. Has anybody else been down this road ? The doctor said that it could just simply be a blossom of the abnormalities that were already present. Pregnancy doesn't effect it so me becoming pregnant has nothing to do with this bloom. My main concern is this didn't happen with my first pregnancy.

Please any advise or stories of your own or someone you know? Horror stories or fairy tales I need them all.
