Today my fiancé and I were on our way into town when we hit some road work (my man was driving). He wasn’t paying attention to the road and didn’t stop in time for the flagger and rear ended the car in front of us. He was driving my car and never told me that he doesn’t have insurance. My car is insured but doesn’t cover uninsured drivers. It’s pretty much trashed. My cars a new ford fusion and he hit a newer Ford Escape. Our front end crumpled. I’m not seriously hurt. My neck hurts quite a bit right around my carotid artery, I think from the seat belt, but that’s it. I’m mostly worried about baby. I’m 7 weeks and worried that the accident could have harmed it? I feel okay. My stomach doesn’t hurt. My medical insurance sucks so I haven’t been to the Er yet. No ambulance was called to the accident because no one was hurt and at first I wasn’t hurting. Once I calmed down and the adrenaline settled I started to feel the pain in my neck.
