I adore my mother in law! I'm very lucky he doesn't have one of those "my son can do no wrong" mom's! 
I think she's always respected that I don't put up with his BS and my Independence.
She also a amazing grandmother and is a mom and grandma to boys only. This little girl we have coming is going to be so spoiled!

Umm I really don’t care we talk when we see each other but other than that, it’s non existent lol. Doesn’t bother me any.

Well since she abandoned my husband when he was 4 years old and didn't want to be involved again until he was grown and supporting himself (and only sticks around long enough to bleed us dry or steal medication from us) I would say it's not great, I don't care that it's not and I won't shed a tear when she makes her decent to hell

My mother in law is really difficult to please. My husband is the youngest and the only boy..... its a work in progress.

I wouldn't say it's really good, but it's not bad either. There's a language barrier, so we haven't gotten to have a lot of indepth conversations but she is a really sweet lady and I'm trying to learn so I won't be clueless when my son arrives an inevitably learns Spanish. My one issue with her is she is very attached to my husband and he is just as attached to her (youngest of 8), and he works a lot and spends his days off there. I do my best to be understanding, but we're about to have a baby and I just want some alone time with my husband. 🤷‍♀️

All was well until she said she’s coming down here to stay with us in August after the baby is born for a month lol. I’ve never met her we’ve only had phone conversations and she’s not too close with my husband. So we’re not too thrilled. He hasn’t seen her since he was in a coma from a car accident 7 years ago..

Mine was mad she wasn’t invited to my pelvic exam💁🏼 but she’s also a drug addict that abandoned all 7 of her kids... and wont be seeing her grandkid either

My MIL is controlling and bossy. Drives me crazy, mostly bc if my mom acted like that she’d be put in her place immediately by me. My husband won’t ever say a word to my MIL, and I don’t feel like I have the right to do that if he won’t. So I’m friendly but don’t go out of my way to be around her. My kids are young and even they see her pushiness. My FIL is their favorite...MIL constantly stays things like “Are you my boy? Is grandma your favorite? Give me a kiss. Give me a hug. Do you want to spend the night with me?” just in their faces way too much.
