Would it be stupid?

We’re thinking about doing the Sneak Peak blood test to find out what the sex of our little one is so that we can begin shopping. However I’m almost 15 weeks and keep going back and forth on whether it’s stupid to pay $75+ when I could just wait another 5-7 weeks and find out instead. My boyfriend is the one that’s really eager to find out though so should we just do it or would you wait it out?

I personally think it’s stupid to get the test UNLESS you truly are testing for genetic abnormalities. Here is why, you are paying for a test to tell gender.... then you HAVE to pay again for the required ultrasound. Why pay twice. Just wait. Don’t waste money just to know now.

When is your anatomy scan supposed to be? It stinks to wait but don’t spend extra money where not necessary. There will be a lot of expenses when baby gets here anyway! I’m 16+6 and my scan is August 3rd...definitely understand the anxiousness and impatience that you’re feeling!!!
