new to the menstrual cup and not too happy

hey gals did the first few times you used you menstrual cup your vagina feel weird, burned, itched??? did it go away, did youstop using it? I think the one ai bought may be too big, it hurts a bit when I insert it and once it slipped and poped open before it had to and Im still in pain... I really want to keep using it, but I'm worried I wont feel comfortable with it soon enough...
