Massages?

I’m 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to get a massage? I would only want to get my arms , shoulders, and neck done. Thanks

My spa requires a pregnant woman to be at least past 14 weeks to get a safe massage.

It is totally safe as long as pressure isn’t being placed on your abdomen. I had one in my first trimester and at 36 weeks. Had to lay on my side for both, but some masseuses have tables with removable parts so there’s a hole where your belly goes.

I got prenatal massages once a month throughout my whole pregnancy with my daughter. And every second of it was AMAZING. Some places won’t do them until you’re in your second trimester. I double checked with my doctor before I began going also.
