I'm tired of the way people treat me. I'm African American. A white girl has beautiful natural hair, and everyone swoons over her. A white girl wears a wig, and everyone is like you look so cute or nice cosplay. I wear my natural curly afro hair, wigs, or weave and people look at me like I'm dirty. They are always like girls are supposed to have long hair, or stop wearing wigs because that means you're fake or how do you wash a weave, and it's so dirty you leave it in for weeks at a time. Then if they find out you don't wash your hair everyday, they immediately say ewww. That's gross even though it can strip our hair of it's oils if we wash it everyday. I'm talking about adult men and women, too, who say this stuff. I just want to be treated equal. This shit is depressing. EDIT: Thank you everyone for your kind words. It really means alot to me.
