Separate Prison For Pedophiles

Alright CC my state, and others, have decided to try something I’m not sure I’m on board with. Not necessarily a separate prison but the inmates charged with pedophilia are being housed in a separate building on the same property. It’s intention is to lower the prisoner crime rate, because it’s no secret how pedophiles are treated in prison.

So this means that separate building has to have its own staff. But the food facility remains the same at the main building and is transported to the second building.

Beyond that, they’re treated the same as the would have been in the main building.

I’m against it because of the increase in funding it requires, or cutting the original funding more. Which is hard to do. Of course I don’t believe pedophiles of all people deserve this kind of special treatment. And I honestly couldn’t care less if they get their ass kicked in prison 🤷🏻‍♀️

What do you guys think? Should there be a separate building for pedophiles with the intention of lowering crime rates in prison?
