Closing stretched ears?

Hello I’ve decided to take out my gauges for career reasons. Should I put anything on them while letting them close? Should I leave the plugs out or downsize? I’m at a 0g and that’s the furthest I’ve ever stretched them. Also do you think they will close to wear normal earrings again without cosmetic surgery? Thanks in advance for all the advice and comments

Mine was at 12mm had it gor maybe 2 years. I have had it out for over 10 years now and this is what my ear looks like now.

They should close up pretty well. Most people are suprised to hear that my ears were once at 25mm. I took my plugs out about a year ago and this is what they look like now. I do plan on getting reconstructive surgery to make them look normal again :)

Usually 0g is the point at where you can close them back to normal without needing cosmetic surgery. It may take a bit but you'll eventually be able to wear normal earrings. I had 0g when I was younger and they're back to normal now but I can't remember how long it took

Just downsize. Slowly tho. I did from a 0g and mine are back to normal
