TTC and getting annoyed

Sasha

I know there are women out there trying for way longer than i have but am i the only one frustrated with this....

I always thought getting pregnant would be easy but boy was i wrong.

I have PCOS and with everything that comes along with that plus stress it really makes this process that much harder.

We have been trying for 4 months. I spoke to my s/o last night about options as far as maybe starting Clomid first to see if that helps and if not try IUI.

He’s not opposed to it so i think I’m gonna go ahead and start my first cycle of Clomid this month & pray for a miracle.

I’m not usually a bbt chart person but is that absolutely necessary? I usually start taking opk’s the day before my fertile window is supposed to start up until i see a positive strip.

Does anyone have any other tips & tricks?

Have you met with a fertility specialist? Have they said you need clomid? You don’t just start it because you want to. If you have PCOS that has to be treated in order for you to get pregnant and find out if there are any other reasons

I can’t start medication without consent and a prescription hun. Its been 5yrs since my diagnosis and i was trying before for a year and gave up. Now i feel i am more ready than ever to try for baby #2. I do plan on seeing a specialist as well to get a 2nd opinion

Did your doctor prescribe Clomid? There is a lot of monitoring involved so you can’t just “take it” without supervision. I would suggest talking to your OBGYN. 4 months is not enough time to say you won’t conceive.

Yes my doctor prescribed Clomid. I was diagnosed with PCOS 5yrs ago. Tried having a baby then. My GYN at the time had me on metformin and clomid but i wasn’t on it for long. Stopped trying for couple years now I’m trying again
