Does Tricare cover NIPT (Panorama test etc)

Husband said he didn’t think it would cover since it’s not really necessary but my OB said there is a company that it does cover, anyone with experience with this?

Yes, tricare reserve select did for me. Call the company performing the test and verify with them. I’ve had so many random tests for this pregnancy (normal, healthy pregnancy) and I’ve paid nothing. Love tricare!

Tricare covers what your dr seems medically necessary. So if your dr says you need it, you’ll get it.

Last I heard tricare will only cover if you’re high risk for any of the things it tests for. I’d probably call tricare and ask personally

I’m pretty sure Tricare does cover it. At my first initial appointment I was asked if I wanted the testing done (they’re aware I’m military with tricare) and today they’re doing the blood work
