Is baby crawling yet?

Our daughter has zero interest in crawling. It’s been driving me nuts but I was talking to my dad who is a pediatrician about it and he said the average age for crawling is getting later and later since babies used to always be put to sleep on their stomachs and now they never are. They often don’t develop those muscles as early and in general they are seeing more and more late crawlers and babies who just never crawl and go straight to walking. Every baby is different I guess.

This post makes me feel so much better. My daughter has no interest in crawling at all! I try to teach her but as soon as she goes on her knees she collapses on to her belly and gives up 😩
Looked back on photos of my now 2 year old and she was walking by 10 months but my bow 5 year old didn’t crawl until a week before her 1st bday. Suppose they really are all different. There is no set age for kids to learn to do things!

My kid army crawls but seems to hate it. He cries the whole time. He loves standing up though supported
