is it completely true you can only get pregnant during your fertile window? i’ve seen different information on this.

unprotected sex 5 days after period and week before fertile window/ovulation. i have different apps that have the same information in them so i don’t know when i entered into my fertile window or ovulated. periods are 2 days long.
