hi all! so i’m white, and just kind of wanting to educate myself a little more on the n-word. i understand black people have a 100% right to use it and white people should never even think about it, i’m good there.

but my question is, can i, as a white person, request that a black person not call me that word (hypothetically speaking)? obviously since they’re black they can use it, but would it be ok for me to ask that they not refer to me as that word if i’m uncomfortable with it? i’m just curious if that’s overstepping as a white person.
