If you’re on the pill, do you take other precautions still?

Just curious how cautious everyone else is. I let my man actually finish me for the first time after being on the pill for 3 months, usually he just pulls out. I don’t plan to make a habit out of it at all but I just wanted to hear what other people’s methods are.

I was on the pill for 6 years with no scares. He came in me all the time. With perfect use of the pill, there's only around a 1-2 percent chance of failure. The only time I would be concerned would be the first month or two of starting the pill. If you are super-concerned, use a backup method like a condom.
