When did you tell your mom or parent about being pregnant?

I got my BFP today at 11dpo. I was just curious as to when you guys announced to family only. I want to wait as long as possible but I don't know how long I can wait.

I told only the moms. His and mine. The rest of the family can wait. This way he has her support and I have my own mommy to talk to lol. His mom felt thrilled being in on the secret and gave him tons of advice how to care for his pregnant wife 💕

I was waiting until we heard the heartbeat (which sadly never happened)... I did tell her when blood tests confirmed a mc. Next time, I’ll be telling her right away... I decided immediately that I need her support regardless of what happens!

My mom called me right after I finished peeing on the stick, I kinda couldn’t hold it in when I saw the second pink line appear. She knew before my husband😂

My mom knew before my SO because she was with me when I peed on the stick and he was at work. We had been trying for 6 months and she knew that. We told his parents and my dad 2 days later on Christmas. 
Probably would’ve waited until my first doctors appointment had Christmas not been so close!

We’re not quite 8 weeks yet and we haven’t told anyone! This is mostly because we live a few hours from our parents and want to tell them in person, so we wanted to wait until we have an ultrasound photo. It’s actually been really fun just having it be our little secret and thinking of different ways we can tell our parents

Our first pregnancy we told all of our family and friends almost right away.  At 10 weeks we found out that we were going to miscarry (spontaneous demise).. having to answer everyone’s questions over and over again was very hard to do. 
This time we’ve told my mother, his sister and that’s IT!! We told them so we would have support if a miscarriage is in our future again.. No one else will be told until we’re in the safe zone.  It was too hard the first time around.

my mom cant keep a secret for anything.  last time I told her I was pregnant and I didnt want other people to know until after the 12 weeks...I was so clear on this, the same night...everyone knew on Facebook.  i ended up miscarrying si this time..she has to wait.  I'm not telling her anything!!!!
