Metformin

Hey Ladies I just turned 34, I have been ttc since Dec, I have endometriosis at age 18 had my left ovary removed and was told my chances to have children were slim to none. I'm proud to say that I conceived my son at age 23 nd he is now 9yrs old.. With the help of clomid Ofcourse.. Well I've done 4 rounds of clomid now and had endo surgery this past May. I was put on metformin but I've done research and it's normally prescribed for women who have PCOS. Anyone know why my Ob would prescribe it if I don't have that condition? Waiting on my BFP test 2days late one neg pg test. If not I'll be starting Femara next cycle 😢
