bleeding iud ( mirena)

I got my iud may 3 2018 ( switched from depo shots to iud ) I haven't had a period in 3 years ( have 2 kids) was told to expect some light bleeding which I have been having expect last night i had some heavy bleeding for about an hour and now just light light spotting. is this normal with a new iud?
