Help! Tattoo advice! What do I do?!

Hello all! I got the this quote on my LEFT arm that says “everything happens for a reason” in Latin when I was 18. Why? I don’t know. But I’m wanting to cover it 
This highly recommended tattoo artist I went to go see told me the best way to cover it would be to get a half sleeve.
Now I’ve never thought of a half sleeve but I really want it covered up and o haven’t heard good things about getting a tattoo removed.
What should I do? Should I go with a half sleeve, leave it, or get it removed. I’m pretty 50/50 on my decision and I don’t want regrets like I already have! HELP ME!! If you have a half sleeve can you show me pics and give me advice!

I can see why the artist recommended a half sleeve. That way, it would look incorporated, instead of like you threw something on to cover up another tattoo.
I could also potentially see a floral piece or something similar? You don't have to fully wrap the arm, but you want to choose something with a composition that has flow in addition to being a successful coverup.
This isn't mine, and I'm sure has way too much open skin for a coverup, but just an idea of the type of composition I'm talking about.

removals still leave a scar and tend to be pricey with multiple sessions.However, getting a half sleeve might be risky for career reasons (pending if they would be accepted in that field). if you get a HS make sure its something you really really want and it's done by a great artist. I got my mistake covered personally, but I can still cover it with work attire clothing too.

I say either get it covered, or half sleeve... if you aren't happy with the tattoo then you most likely won't be happy with it removed. Get it covered by something else you can come to love.. like everyone else has said, floral pieces can help a lot & look super cute! I don't think there's anything wrong with a half sleeve though.. just depends on what you get
