Hey so I live in the uk but this may apply anywhere. We are 25 weeks pregnant and are living at my mums. We found a house that accepts pets (we have 7 dogs) which is great. But it’s outside of our catchment area for my mental health team. They don’t want me to move and would rather me claim homelessness to the council to get a council Home which my mum has refused to lie about ‘kicking us out’ anyway (I totally agree with her). I just feel that’s wrong as we can afford private and we’ve found an ideal home in a place that we really want to live and bring our family up in. The house is 0.5 miles out of our catchment area. 🤦‍♂️ so close.

My question is has anyone moved whilst having on going treatment for mental health issues outside of their catchment area whilst pregnant? What did the new care entail or did social services get involved straight away x
