38 weeks + 3 days contractions?! Maybe?!

Question

This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what contractions feel like. 
I know every woman is different and we all experience this beautiful thing in a variety of different ways, so I’m curious, what were/are contractions like for you if you’ve experienced them? 
I could be having them as early labor and just be in denial about it...or I just need to poop 🤷🏼‍♀️

Time them. I noticed mine were starting to get close and called the hospital. They told me to come in when I couldn’t take through them and by the time I got off the phone the pain was stopping me in my tracks. Went to the hospital and delivered my daughter 3 hours later. I was 38+5. 5/1/1 is what you’re looking for. 5 minutes a part, lasting 1 minute, for an hour.
