Do belly buttons pop?

Hi ladies,
I’m still very early on in my pregnancy (my first!). I’m a size 18, 5’5” and 220. I’m wondering if belly button poke out in late pregnancy with plus size ladies? I don’t know why but I must know the answer!!

I’m 250 with my second, 39 weeks right now and I got an outie. With my first, I topped off at 244 and always had an innie with her 🤔

I think it must depend on how deep of an innie you had to begin with. Personally, pre-pregnancy, I had a super deep belly button! And although it has certainly gotten shallower and shallower throughout the course of my pregnancy, at this point (35w), I don’t think it’s gonna pop.

I was about 250lbs pre-pregnancy, 5’4”... I’m currently 37w3d & belly button is still an innie.

I think it’s more a hereditary thing cuz my moms didn’t and mine didn’t. And my mom was tiny when she was pregnant with me.

I'm 28 weeks and nothing yet. I doubt it will happen to me considering I'm 265lbs and have a deep button lol

I’m currently 28 weeks and my belly button has not really changed at all. 
But I have a anterior placenta so I wonder whether that makes a difference? 
Since ive noticed the sides of my bump can get really solid but the very front always has a bit of give. 
But I’m also plus size, size 18 before pregnancy. Lost 12kgs due to hypermesis gravidarum so I’m still under my pre pregnancy weight at this point

I'm 5'9" started my first pregnancy at 160 pound button did not pop, 2nd pregnancy started at 180 button did not pop, 3rd started at 240 and I'm currently 30 weeks and my button has not popped. it doesnt happen to everyone or every pregnancy.

With my first it would only pop out if I was laying a certain way or if baby was balled up right underneath it and only right at the end but most of the time it was still an innie.

I don't think it has anything to do with weight really. I was barely 100 lbs for my first and it never popped. Now at double that weight, I'm not expecting to either. Time will tell!
