Will I ever be able to have Starbucks again? Just got my diagnosis yesterday. 28 weeks along. 
What can you all drink at Starbucks that doesnt sky rocket your sugar level? I used to get caramel frapps all the time. 
Guess I'm having a difficult time letting go of all my favorite pre-diabetes treats

I know this is crazy but I can have decaf mochas and they barely raise my blood sugar at all! One tip is to order your beverage with either full fat milk or heavy whipping cream (breve). The additional fat slows your body’s absorption of sugar.

I started getting their Pineapple Black Tea Infusions, minus the liquid sugar, adding one packet of the stevia/monk fruit. Takes some getting used to but definitely helps.

Former Starbucks barista here. You can get sugar free caramel, but it’s not as good. If you’re going caffeine free, you can get passion tea lemonades with half the sweetener, or if you really do want caramel frappes, have them do half the flavor sugar free and half not. Use non-fat milk and skip the whipped cream. See how it affects your blood sugar and go from there. You may also want to try caramel sauce frappuccinos instead of caramel syrup frappuccinos. It sounds like the same thing but the difference in sweetener may affect your blood sugar differently. If all else fails, just ask for the sugar free syrup. If you’re wanting caffeine but don’t like the taste of the coffee, you can also get black or green tea lemonades with half or no sweetener. I used to get an iced decaf coffee with 2% milk and sugar free cinnamon dulce with 2 Splenda. I was fine. I drank it slowly too. The only carbs are from the milk and a grande is 15g

Do they have a sugar-free frap? I used to get that, but I’m also happy with a cold brew (cheaper, lol). I sooo want fraps, but I’ve promised myself not to have them until LO is born.

I’ve been getting a tall skinny cinnamon dolce latte with almond milk. It’s under 15 carbs so I just use it as my afternoon snack occasionally

When I was on Keto, my Starbucks order was and iced coffee, no classic syrup, with heavy cream and whip cream on top! I plan to go back to that (I make it at home too). It takes a little to get used to it, but I ended up preferring it over the sugary drinks. ☺️

Google what drink you want and check the nutrition facts. I dont drink starbucks or coffee but I googled "Caramel Frappuccino Starbucks nutrition facts" and a tall has 47 grams of carbs so thats a no 👎. Their website should also have nutrition facts on all their items and sizes.

Look I. Their app and it will let you know the carb levels. I got a tall sweet cream cold brew this am and it only has 5g. I was never a frap person so idk what to tell you on that but there are options.
