From past experience, the matte one works better for me, it just seems it has more coverage.

Matte foundations *typically* have better coverage, however they do cling to any dry spots which may emphasize imperfections.... so I’ll let you decide which would be best for your skin type. However, I will say after using the Maybelline Fit Me foundation, I much prefer the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte/Pro-Glow line. Both brands are great, but I found the L’Oreal has slightly better coverage and feels more lightweight
