Anyone TTC that has older children?

Me and my husband have been TTC since march. I had my 12 yr old son fairly early so it's scary to think about starting all over with a new baby when he's about to become a teen! Does anyone else have a similar situation? I definitely want another baby just a little anxious to see how things will be this time around.

I have a 9 yr old daughter, 7 yr son and 5 yr old son. Also have an 8 yr old step son & 11 yr old step daughter. I want one that is both him and I. It's funny bc both of us have mixed kids. So when we do have a baby together, it'll be a lil white baby ;) we're like WEIRD lol

Lol yeah, I have a 21 yr old, 19 yr old and a 22 month old.

I have a son who will be 9 in November. I have had to wait this long because of being on dialysis and finally a Kidney transplant in Feb 2013. I'm excited about it, I think the age difference will have pros and cons. My son is very independent and really wants a sibling so he may be willing to help out and able to help out. Another pro is I have had all this time with my son and given him my undivided attention and when/if another comes along there probably won't be that competition! I look forward to the diapers and bottles and snuggling etc! Good luck to you all!!

I have a 7 year old son from a previous relationship ...and have gained a 6 year old step son from my current relationship also .  We have been trying for our first baby together for the last 6 cycles .... I'm anxious at the 7 year age gap or possibility 8 years by the time a baby is born . but I also think it will be a blessing .  I'm looking forward to doing it all again :) the kids will be able to help out a lot and be our little helpers

I def understand where you are coming from! I have a beautiful 11 year old who I had very early @ 22 and now are ttc again at 33 - just when she is hitting her teenage years eeek! My daughter is a beautiful child though so I don't think she will have issues I'm just scared I'll have forgotten everything when the time comes for me to have a baby again

​here's my 16 ~11~ 14 year old kids. They did not want another sibling at first but now they seen to have warmed up to the idea. I'm a bit nervous about starting all over.
