I need advice on his present. So awhile ago, one of his friends stopped through and was about to go duck hunting. I’m not a fan but he said he really wanted to go.

Well, his birthday is in August. I thought maybe I could get him two passes to go on an unguided Duck Hunt with his dad. The only thing is, it’s $175 per person per day. He can’t go until October. I thought I could pay for both of their passes, an Air BnB or camping site for two nights, and all their gun rentals and food and stuff. Everything would cost me about $700. But he is paying rent for me right now while I’m in school and I’ll have a while to save up but I have enough for all deposits now. But that means they’ll only be able to hunt one day. It’s six hours away so it’s not crazy far but far. I figured they could get there the night before, wake up super early, go hunt, sleep one more night then come home. But I don’t know if he’ll be disappointed because it’s only one day?? Should I just not do it since I can’t pay for multiple days? (They both have their hunting license) maybe he won’t appreciate it because it’s not long enough. I don’t know if I should even try. Maybe I should think of something else. What do you guys think???? I mean, he totally deserves it and I still have to talk to his dad. I just want to make sure y’all don’t think it would be disappointing or anything before I do
