We had our second date night since our son was born 5.5 months ago. It was definitely one of the best nights of my life. We went out to the casino which I usually don’t enjoy but he loves it... tonight I had no care in the world while we were there. For awhile I just watched him gamble and totally enjoyed not having to be a mom. That sounds terrible but my LO is such a mommas boy. He doesn’t enjoy being with other caretakers for too long. He goes from 0 to 💯 real quick with those screams. I love being a mom but I kinda feel a little guilty that I want to do it again and again. Currently on maternity leave so I’m mommin all day long. This break was so nice.
