HELP!!

my boyfriend and i had sex and the condom broke. i’m not on any kind of birth control but i do plan on calling my doctor tomorrow to get plan B. i’m supposed to get my period tomorrow so my question is: when i get my period, will that lessen the chances of getting pregnant or will it not change anything?

i’m 17 and very much pro-life but my boyfriend absolutely does not want to be a father right now no matter what. any opinions would be greatly appreciated. i’m trying not to be nervous but this is the first time a condom has broke on us😬

UPDATE: i forgot to mention that he pulled out before he came. however both of us are still worried.
