He's here! Labor story!

Tuesday afternoon I got false labor contractions that started at 10 mins apart and over 9 hours got to 5 mins apart and stopped.... 😒🙄😢the next day my mom and I took my son to the mall and we walked for 2.5 hours because I figured if anything, a walk would help. Boy, did it! an hour after I got home at about 3pm, I started getting contractions 10 mins apart again. I played with my son, made us dinner and headed to the hospital around 6. I was at 3cm so they sent me home. labored for another 4 hours and went back and was at a 5 so they admitted me. got to a room at 7:30am, labored for 2 hours and the Dr checked me and I was at 6cm. she broke my water and I walked for an hour. after that I was between 8 and 9 cm and contractions went from what I could handle to too much in one contraction. ordered an epidural (which none of us was sure would happen) got it just in time! began pushing an hour later. 3 pushes and 4 minutes later, at 12:58pm, Owen William was born! 6pounds 10ounces and 19.5 inches long! Due date was 7/22 and born 7/18 on my mom's birthday!
