Also, does SNS powder just go over your real nail? What if your nails are different lengths? Can it extend some nails to make them the same length?

My boss had sns fake nails during her pregnancy but I would still ask your doctor to make sure!

if you mean the dip powder then yes it just goes over your real nails if you want( that's what I use) or you can get the acrylic for length then use the powder. it doesn't have a strong smell they still use the gel like polish that has a smell and gives a thicker coat to your nails to kind of feel like acrylic(more strong and sturdy)and when they come off they don't seem to mess up your real nails like the acrylics do or other gel polish. Safe while pregnant I'm not sure but I wouldn't see the difference in them and other styles of getting your nails done.

I’ve gotten the dip powder multiple times on my natural nails. They use a certain kind of clear polish and top coats to help it stay and last longer. If you get tips, they just do the dip powder over that. Some places will file or use a little drill to sand off the top layer of the nail, make sure all tools and drill bits they use are sanitized and clean!

I was an avid SNS dip powder nail person, however, the only way they can do a full in or to take off is by soaking your nails completely in alcohol. I did it twice and felt very weak afterwards both times. (soak times is up to 30 mins) So now I just stick to shellac gel nails until after the baby comes to avoid soaking my nails complete alcohol
