Did anyone ever create a birth plan for their Dr.?

My “plan” was simply;
•I want the epidural
•I want to do it vaginally if I can
•If anyone is recording kick them out
•Get this baby out! 
My doctor told me around 18 weeks or so that baby seemed like he might wanna come early (I had placenta issues at this time, but she always said things in a way that made it seem less scary so I didn’t worry and make it worse lol). She said I needed to be open to the fact that I might have to be induced and I might need a c-section,
Well I was induced, because of the placenta issue, low amniotic fluid and I hadn’t felt baby move in over 12 hours, but thankfully didn’t need a c-section and was able to do it vaginally and he turned out perfectly healthy! 😊
I think it’s ok to throw a plan together as long as you keep in mind that it may not happen the way you want, I’ve heard more of “we had a plan but because of — it didn’t work out that way” than I have of “we made a plan and followed it completely”. Things can change within a moment!

Had one with my first. Probably won’t bother when I have my second. I know what I want. My husband knows what I want. My doctor is aware of what I want. If anything comes up I trust my husband to work with my doctor to get it sorted.

My hospital provided a checklist that made it really easy to share my preferences, I’m sure you could find something similar online to share with your doctor! I keep a copy in my hospital bag and my purse in case I’m too overwhelmed/in pain to communicate clearly when I go into labor 😬

Not with my first two unfortunately we lost them but I’m 17w6d with our rainbow and seeing specialist doctors so will most likely have a birthing plan this time

Honestly you can plan all you want but it’s very likely things won’t go your way. I find it easier to have preferences but don’t try to set anything in stone. It ends up hurting things more

I didn’t have a birth plan & I’m so thankful I didn’t because it went all left & I ended up getting a emergency c section.
If I had a plan I would’ve been more upset,

My birth plan is:
- No drugs as long as I can handle it 
- No episiotomy, perineal massage instead 
- Skin to skin asap 
- Delayed cord clamping until it stops pulsating 
I know things can change quickly so nothing is set in stone, obviously, but in a perfect scenario that’s what I want.
