He can’t get attached????

Ok sooo update the guy I’ve been dealing with so as always i stay up until he get off work and we talk until he falls asleep or iI do eventually we’ll last night was sort of a shit show his ex who is close with his mom( I’ve never met her bc that kind of situation makes me uncomfortable and I’ve never brought anyone home myself bc I’m scared to Like i wanna know a guy is the one before showing him to my family ) anyways his fucking crazy ex gf was like asking for his kids and shit and I was like the fuck is this and he tried to block her and she called his mom in hysterics about it and his mom called him about it it was this entire ordeal so after that settles down we’re otp he says he’s coming over today because he can’t sleep without me (he sleeps over here) so i go baby i miss you too and his response was “ lol not tryna get attached tho” what the fuck does that even mean ????? And. i asked but he fell asleep so I havent really slept because what the fuck does that even meantime i feel like he just scared to get but it’s like shit me too so if he doesn’t want attachment then it’s like well are we just doing stuff to do it ?
