Ectopic pregnancy

So I found out I was pregnant last week. I was really excited. On Tuesday night I started bleeding and my mother in law said to put my feet up so I did that. When I woke up I had blood clots so I got an appointment and went in. They did an ultrasound and said the pregnancy was not in my uterus. The doctor ordered more blood tests. Then I got a call and told I would have surgery Thursday (yesterday). They had to take part of my tube with the pregnancy. Right now I just feel sad and confused and feel like this isn’t real. I was ready to be a mom again. Now I feel so scared to get pregnant again but I do want another baby.
