Clingy baby

My daughter will be 5 weeks in a couple days. Basically ever since she was born she has been fairly clingy. Occasionally she will be okay in the swing or the bouncer, but it’s for a short period of time. Otherwise, if she is awake, she wants to be held. And while I love holding my daughter and cuddling with her, sometimes I need to use the bathroom. Or cook, or clean, and she is not okay with these things. Anyone else have a very clingy baby or experience with one? When do they usually grow out of this?
