BFN - but a silver lining!

So I have had PCOS since I was 16 and been on birth control constantly up until this last February, when we decided we were ready. I’ve been on Metformin for 6-8 months, taking pre-natal vitamins and working really hard to take care of ourselves..I did a round of Provera to stimulate my period, and then we really tried this month to conceive.. it was a BFN... but for the first time since I was 16 and off birth control, AF showed up right on time!! I’m super sad because I was sick for a week and was SO convinced I was pregnant.. but BFN aside, I am so excited that I might be regulating finally!

Anyone else have a similar experience but then ended up with a BFP in a future cycle? :)
