So this is my third pregnancy. I’m 39 yrs. old I have a 17 yr. Old daughter who will be a senior this coming year and I have 10 yr. Old twin boys who will be in 5th grade. About 4 yrs. ago I got off birth control hoping to have 1 more, but it never happen. I had finally come to terms that maybe it wasn’t meant to be and I was ok with that. Everyone would ask us if we were having anymore and I was set on “no we’re done! I’m to old already”. Well last week when I missed my cycle I decided to take a home pregnancy test and surprise positive. I thought maybe it was an old one so I went to buy another one and nope positive again. I’m considered high risk because I am hypertensive, my age, and I have twins in my genes. I had all kinds of mixed emotions when i found out because I really thought I was done, but at the same time I’m happy. The only people we’ve told are my parents and my in-laws. We want to tell everyone but want to make sure everything is ok first. I have my first ultrasound schedule in 2 weeks at my 7 week point, but I know a lot can happen in that time. So please all the positive vibes are welcomed!!
