When did y’all tell your current children you were expecting?

I’m going to wait for the 12 week scan.

I'm 16 weeks and still haven't told my 16yo daughter. My last pregnancy she was very mean and didn't talk to me for weeks. I am in no hurry even though I am definitely starting to show. She also got upset last time when she found out it was a girl and this one is too.

We told them at 9 weeks and then lost the baby at 13 weeks, which was horrendous for them to go through. This time we waited until 14 weeks. I think you have to do what is beat for you and your family.

I waited until after my first trimester. I had scan photos to show him and midwife appointment shortly after where he got to hear the baby's "heartbeep" (love my kiddo)

Same day because we knew they would overhear us and I didn't want it out of my control. We told them both in their own special way and then explained that it's delicate and needed to stay our secret.  It isn't fool proof but the kids are so excited and having been through 2MC it's very endearing to see them learning compassion. Congrats and good luck

My husband and I are waiting until after we find out the gender through blood work at 12 weeks. We had a MC in March and told our 8yo daughter when we we around 8 weeks (only because we saw the heartbeat 2x). We lost the baby a week after we told her. We need to protect her heart as long as we can. ❤️🙏🏽
