Daughter’s Name??

We’re can’t decide if we want to name her Diana which we love and just call her Dani all the time. Or, if we should just name her Dani since we don’t really plan on ever calling her that or introducing her to people that way.

I like nicknames a lot! Also it's nice for when she's older to have a more formal name to go by for jobs and such. So I think you should go with Diana and nickname her Dani. Both are so pretty! 💜

Personally I don't see the point in giving someone a name they're not going to be called, so go for Dani. I think it works great as a first name!

I am all for people just naming their child what they will call them. For instance, I am Lexi not alexis or Alexa or anything. I am glad i am just Lexi because I would hate to have to fill out forms all the time with a full name or have to correct teachers/substitutes at school.

I’ve only ever seen Dani as a nickname for Danielle.  People will probably assume that’s her name.
