I took miso 4 days ago. I was 9w2d when I took it (10w today) and my Gestational and Yolk sac was only measuring 5w1d at my last scan (it had shrunk from 5w6d). No fetal pole ever detected, so it was a blighted ovum.

I passed a lot of tissue and had cramping but it died off to just worse than period cramps. Today the pain hit me worse than ever, I was almost blacking out and even my morphine prescription didn’t help, so we went to ER. It was there that I passed this, and now my pain is essentially gone.

Is this the placenta? It was very solid and I couldn’t see a clear sac in it definitively (but it could have been there)
